What should I do as a parent?

Here’s my blunt advice: stop worrying about scholarships and start worrying about keeping your kid in the game. The biggest predictor of long-term athletic success is whether your child actually enjoys playing. So expose them to multiple sports, prioritize fun, and resist the pressure to specialize early. Your kid’s body—and their love of the game—will thank you.
